Stephanie TingleyStephanie Tingley is a Certified Veterinary Technician who has been with Dover Veterinary Hospital since 2006. Stephanie started her career at Dover Veterinary Hospital as an animal care attendant, and through on-the-job training and many hours of study, was able to achieve her certification in Veterinary Technology. Stephanie has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire.

"I like working at Dover Veterinary Hospital because I enjoy the various appointments we see as a general medicine practice," she says. "I enjoy the relationships I have with our clients and patients, as well as helping pets and educating clients to be better caregivers for their pets. I also like the various surgical procedures we perform, as well as being with my coworkers."

At home, she has two cats, named Mango and Logan. Stephanie's interests include crafting, painting, baking, hiking, spending time outdoors, and being with her family and friends.

Catherine DeMelloCatherine DeMello has been a Client Care Coordinator at Dover Veterinary Hospital since April of 2011, but began her career in companion animal care in 2006. "I like to think that I bring a strong work ethic, a cheerful, accommodating attitude, and creativity to the hospital," said Catherine.

"The standard of care here is exceptional," she says of the hospital. "The doctors and staff are incredibly educated, compassionate, devoted and communicative. It is an honor to be part of this working family. I love any opportunity to comfort or advise clients, and I enjoy bonding with clients through sharing our pet stories.

Catherine has a Bachelor of Arts in Writing/Communications from University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth.

She shares her home with two cats named Wendell and Wilson. Wendell, she says, is a "big goof who loves playing fetch and receiving back pats", and Wilson is a "feral cat who has learned to trust and now thrives on attention." Her interests include illustration (she hopes to pursue her freelance work in this area), reading, road trips, dancing, shopping, walking and biking, watching movies, spending time with loved ones, and training her cats to perform tricks on command.

Jessie GeorgeVeterinary Technician, Jessie George, has been with the Dover Veterinary Hospital since March of 2011, but began her career in companion animal care in 2004.

"I like being part of this team. The staff here all work well together and are here to support one another, which allows us to provide the best patient care for our clients," she says, when asked what she enjoys most about her work. Jessie has a positive attitude and brings her sense of humor into the office every day.

At home, she has a Jack Russell Terrier named Angel, a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier mix named Titan and a cat named Pete. Jessie's interests include horseback riding, fishing and spending quality time with her family.

Stephanie HouleOffice Manager, Stephanie Houle, has been at Dover Veterinary Hospital since November of 2004. "I love working at Dover Veterinary Hospital because it gives me the opportunity to work with a great group of people," she says. "Our staff and veterinarians are the best at what they do. I also love to work with our clients and interact with them daily. They feel like friends rather than just clients, which adds to the warm and friendly environment here."

Stephanie has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Keene State College. While a student there, she spent a semester abroad at the University of Wolverharpton in England. After earning her degree, she moved to New Zealand, where she worked and travelled extensively for a year before returning to New Hampshire.

At home, Stephanie has a Lab/Hound mix named Layla and a cat named MacGyver. Her interests include spending time with her family, hiking, camping, and being team captain for her American Cancer Society's Relay for Life team.

Deb IrwinDeb Hall Irwin is a Client Care Coordinator and Licensed Veterinary Technician who has been with the Dover Veterinary Hospital since February of 2001. In addition to her years of experience, she has an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Science from Great Bay Community College.

"I am very proud to work for a veterinary hospital that provides the most compassionate and best technical care available," she says. Deb is very pleasant to work with and is great at helping calm the frayed nerves of anxious pet owners.

Her pets include an Australian shepherd named Daisy, a Silky Terrier named Peyton, and two cats named Blinky and Milo. Deb's interests include pet sitting, camping, gardening and photography.

Laura SmithLaura Smith is a Certified Veterinary Technician who has been with Dover Veterinary Hospital since May of 2011. She has an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology from Great Bay Community College, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Art from Williams College, and a Master's Degree in Finance from Boston College. "I love working with the staff here. They're so friendly and knowledgeable."

In her first career, Laura spent more than 20 years in small business financial management consulting.

Laura's pets include a mini Australian Shepherd named Kyra, a Siamese mix cat named Mason, a Snowshoe Hare named Cinnamon, a pony named Arthur Dent, a thoroughbred named Kelvin, and two guinea pigs named Willow and Hazel. "My daughter and I spend our time at the barn with our horses. We enjoy caring for them, competing, and improving our horsemanship," Laura said. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, and eating at fine restaurants with friends.
