Linda MooreLinda Moore, Certified Veterinary Technician

Linda Moore is a Certified Veterinary Technician and has been with Dover Veterinary Hospital since 2012, but began her career in the animal care field in 1992.

Linda says, "I am a 'Lab Nerd'—I love analyzing anything under the microscope" and shares her passion for education with our staff.

Linda has an Associates Degree in Animal Medical Technology from the University of Maine and is a member of the New Hampshire Veterinary Technicians Association.

"At Dover Veterinary Hospital, every staff member puts your companion's care first," she says. "We focus on preventative medicine and education to prevent unnecessary diseases, we keep current in gold-standard care and will offer only the best to your furry friends. I love getting to work with such a caring group of professionals."

At home, Linda and her family enjoy participating in Scouts, lacrosse, softball, camping, hiking, and having fun together. She shares her home with Jaker (an Australian Shepherd), Holy (a Golden Retriever mix), two cats (Munchie and Georgie), as well as a variety of chickens.

Crystin LebelCrystin Lebel, Veterinary Technician Assistant

Crystin Lebel is a Veterinary Technician Assistant who joined Dover Veterinary Hospital in 2016. She has been in the animal care field since 2010, as a volunteer for a local wildlife rehabilitation organization.

Crystin is currently pursuing her Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology at Great Bay Community College, anticipated graduation May 2017.

She enjoys learning "something new every day," she says, and enjoys "meeting our new patients". Crystin is looking forward to obtaining her degree and pursuing her goal of becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician.

She shares her home with two cats (Bibi and Bella), a guinea pig (Natasha), and a reat (Elle). In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, being on the water, long walks, watching the Patriots, and listening to music.

Allie Mahan Allie Mahan, Certified Veterinary Technician

Allie Mahan is a Certified Veterinary Technician and has been with Dover Veterinary Hospital since 2013. She has a strong passion for surgical and dental procedures but also finds joy "in providing excellent patient care, whether it be for wellness appointments or for patients who need to stay for further treatment," she says. Allie also brings her sense of humor to her job, by making up songs for the patients to make their appointment more enjoyable.

Allie has an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology from the University of New Hampshire.

She shares her home with her cat, Mew Mew. Allie enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as being involved in her community- she is the Assistant Coach for the Girls Varsity Basketball team at Dover High.

Catherine DeMello-Fitzgerald Catherine DeMello-Fitzgerald, Client Care Coordinator

Catherine DeMello-Fitzgerald has been a Client Care Coordinator at Dover Veterinary Hospital since April of 2011, but began her career in companion animal care in 2006. "I like to think that I bring a strong work ethic, a cheerful, accommodating attitude, and creativity to the hospital," said Catherine.

"The standard of care here is exceptional," she says of the hospital. "The doctors and staff are incredibly educated, compassionate, devoted and communicative. It is an honor to be part of this working family. I love any opportunity to comfort or advise clients, and I enjoy bonding with clients through sharing our pet stories.

Catherine has a Bachelor of Arts in Writing/Communications from University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth.

She shares her home with two cats named Wendell and Wilson. Wendell, she says, is a "big goof who loves playing fetch and receiving back pats", and Wilson is a "feral cat who has learned to trust and now thrives on attention." Her interests include illustration (and making gifts with her artwork), dancing, shopping, photography, swimming, skiing, kayaking, spending time with loved ones, and training her cats to perform tricks on command.

Ashley Tarbox is a Certified Veterinary Technician who joined Dover Veterinary Hospital in 2016.

"I have a positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent care for all of our patients," she says.

Ashley has an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology from Great Bay Community College as well as a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Administration from Endicott College.

Ashley shares her home with two cats, Aiden and Brody. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and enjoying conversations over coffee.

Jessie GeorgeJessie George, Lead Veterinary Technician

Lead Veterinary Technician, Jessie George has been with the Dover Veterinary Hospital since March of 2011, but began her career in companion animal care in 2004.

"I like being part of this team. The staff here all work well together and are here to support one another, which allows us to provide the best patient care for our clients," she says, when asked what she enjoys most about her work. Jessie has a positive attitude and brings her sense of humor into the office every day.

At home, she has a Jack Russell Terrier named Angel, an American Bulldog mix named Rudy, a cat named Pete, and two ferrets (Primer & Powder). While Jessie says she is an "avid tennis ball thrower" for Angel, she also enjoys spending quality time with her family, hunting, fishing, and gardening.

Stephanie HouleStephanie Houle, Practice Manager

Practice Manager Stephanie Houle, has been at Dover Veterinary Hospital since November of 2004. "I love working at Dover Veterinary Hospital because it gives me the opportunity to work with a great group of people," she says. "Our staff and veterinarians are the best at what they do. I also love to work with our clients and interact with them daily. They feel like friends rather than just clients, which adds to the warm and friendly environment here."

Stephanie has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Keene State College. While a student there, she spent a semester abroad at the University of Wolverharpton in England. After earning her degree, she moved to New Zealand, where she worked and travelled extensively for a year before returning to New Hampshire.

At home, Stephanie has a Lab/Hound mix named Layla and two guinea pigs (Coco and Sugar). Her interests include spending time with her husband and two daughters, hiking, snowshoeing, crafting, gardening, traveling, and camping. She also enjoys community involvement, such as being the team captain for her local Relay for Life team (an American Cancer Society event).

April CowansApril Cowans, Client Care Coordinator

April Cowans is a Client Care Coordinator who joined our practice in 2015. Overall, April has 28 years of experience in the companion animal care field. When asked about why she likes working at Dover Veterinary Hospital, April says it is because "it provides a high level of care for pets and owners. The staff is an amazing group of kind and caring individuals that do their very best to provide excellent veterinary care and customer service."

April shares her home with four dogs, Oscar (a Yorkie mix), Grover and Sassy (Standard Poodles) and Moxie (a Cairn Terrier). In her free time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, kayaking, and crafting.

Michael GranMichael Gran, Veterinary Technician

Michael Gran is a Veterinary Technician who joined our practice in 2015. He has 19 years of experience in the animal care field, including small animal and large animal.

One of Michael's favorite parts of his job is client education. He also appreciates working together with his co-workers as a team to provide excellent care to our patients and clients.

Michael has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology from Purdue University.

He shares his home with two dogs, Squirt (Bassett/Setter Mix) and Ariel (Bassett Hound) and four cats: Fritz, Mouse, Slider, and Mocha.

When not at work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristi, and two children, Alex and Skye. He enjoys following Cubs baseball, Purdue football/basketball, Philadelphia football, and Chicago hockey, gaming with his friend, and taking his dogs hiking.

Gail Kenny Gail Kenny, Veterinary Technician

Gail Kenny is a Veterinary Technician with 13 years experience in the animal care field. She joined our practice in 2013.

Gail likes the diversity of cases she sees every day and the variety of her skills that she is able to use in helping care for our patients. Gail says, "I am proud to work for a hospital with such attention to detail and high level of care," and that she appreciates working with such a great group of people.

Gail holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Salem State as well as an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology from Great Bay Community College.

She shares her home with Sheamus, and English Bulldog, and her cat Danielson. During her free time, she brings Seamus to do therapy visits once a month. Gail also likes kayaking, hiking, DIY home improvement projects, spending time with family, camping and traveling.
